Stewart Plastering

Stewart Plastering provides a complete range of plastering, rendering and tiling services to customers in Sheffield and throughout South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. We offer a complete range of plastering services, from installation of plasterboards and skimming to more traditional methods and finishes. Plasterboards can be used to line most walls and ceilings - whether attached to solid wood or metal frames, or fixed using a proprietary board adhesive. Generally being the most cost effective way to plaster a room, they are also durable and quick to install.

Final skim coats are always two-coat finished. This is to ensure the finish will be flat, smooth, durable and provide the best finish, especially if the surfaces are to be painted. Wherever possible, skimmed areas are always completed in one session, thereby eliminating obvious joins and unsightly ‘feathering in' appearances. The background will be assessed, checking that it is sound, dry and suitable to accept the plasterwork.
